According to the latest reports, the Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, is the first offender, as asserted by a lawyer in an ongoing lawsuit at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
A Wednesday report by SaharaReporters revealed that the singer was declared wanted by Lewisham Police in the UK in 2014.
The singer is currently fighting legally with the EFCC for allegations of involvement in prepaid money fraud and cybercrime.
When the musician appeared on May 20 2019 in the High Court of the Irony in Lagos, Olalekan, a member of Taiwo Oreagba representing his chief counsel, sued Hon. The judge ruled that the singer was a criminal for the first time.
